Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Nashville, TN seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time day shift position in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assess patient needs, design and implement therapy plans, and document progress to ensure quality care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy with TN licensure and BLS within 30 days. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred; strong teamwork and patient education are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• TN state licensure in occupational therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient ability to safely perform occupational skills.
• Designs the plan of care including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documentation of patient progress (subjective and objective).
• Monitor and modify the plan of care; seek consultation as needed.
• Educate patient and family on deficits and care options.
• Assist with patient discharge planning from therapy services.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to COTA and therapy technicians.
