Job summary

Avera McKennan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical assessment, diagnostic and treatment services to patients. The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with physicians, and comprehensive care planning.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of assignment.
• Active RN license in state of practice is required.
• Board certification in appropriate specialty preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per medical staff protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team and patients on care plans.
