Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is hiring a registered nurse (RN) for the Hematology/Oncology/Cellular Therapy unit (EI 73/74B). The unit provides inpatient and hospital-based outpatient care for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other hematologic disorders.

The RN delivers direct patient care and coordinates with the care team in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold an RN license, and have strong communication, teamwork and critical thinking

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and deliver direct patient care.
• Provide patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hematology/oncology and cellular therapy.
• Demonstrate leadership and critical thinking in a fast-paced unit.
