University of Utah Health seeks an Inpatient Oncology Nurse to provide direct bedside care to hospitalized cancer patients, administer chemotherapy under supervision, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires flexibility to rotate shifts, including nights and weekends, within a 24/7 health system. Current Utah RN license or ability to obtain via interstate compact within 90 days; RQI eCredential within 30 days.

Formación

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah, or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact.
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• * Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine bedside nursing care for inpatient oncology patients.
• Administers medications and treatments, including chemotherapy, under supervision.
• Continuously assesses patient status and escalates concerns per protocol.
• Coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team and participates in rounds.
• Maintains accurate documentation in accordance with standards.
• Works rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet staffing needs.
