• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required.
• Evaluation and treatment skills necessary to provide Occupational Therapy appropriate to the developmental and chronological age of patients on caseload.
• Professional initiative, objectivity, good time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts Occupational Therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation of patients.
• Directs patient participation in selected activities/treatments to restore, re-enforce and correct pathology.
• Performs evaluations and develops effective treatment plans within the care continuum.
• Educates patient/family/caregiver in applicable health information, treatment and prevention.
• Initiates and participates in discharge planning.
• Performs other department activities such as documentation, billing, and support of department operations.
