Job summary

University of California, Davis Health is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical expertise in an inpatient obstetric setting. The role encompasses antepartum/postpartum care, orders and interpretation of tests, and collaboration with Attending physicians.

The position is 100% on-site at the Main Hospital, with a 8-hour swing shift and an hourly wage between $92.07 and $121.51.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) is required or strongly preferred.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited program.
• California RN license without restriction and NP furnishing license.
• DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
• National NP board certification aligned to practice area.

Responsibilities

• 90% clinical practice providing advanced NP care.
• 10% engagement in other professional activities and quality improvement tasks.
