Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the employing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
• May focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate and provide ongoing patient care during shifts.
• Provide care of hospitalized patients and maintain patient continuity across the shift.
