Job summary

McLean Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for our McLean SouthEast inpatient unit. You will provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders, support safety, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu.

The role includes advocacy, family counseling components, and CPI training within 30 days of hire. Onsite at 23 Isaac Street with rotating shifts and a 24-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience 0-1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of EHR systems and basic computer skills.
• CPI training required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
• Provide Parent/Family counseling and interventions as appropriate.
• Adhere to safety and reporting guidelines for patients with special status.
• Maintain timely and accurate shift-to-shift reports and documentation.
