Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Palm Beach, Florida, seeks an Inpatient Medical Oncologist to join the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute. The role reports to the Medical Director, supported by a team of providers to deliver inpatient oncology care.

Ideal candidates are ABIM board certified/eligible, with experience in inpatient coverage and a commitment to quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing inpatient coverage in oncology settings.
• Ability to develop interdisciplinary and systemic treatment plans.
• Strong understanding of acute complications in non-hematologic cancers.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient hematology/oncology service with census of around 25 patients daily.
• Collaborate with an multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Participate in shared call coverage (1:6) at a single hospital site.
• Contribute to quality and patient-centered care initiatives.
