Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, in partnership with UC Davis, seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Sacramento, California.

As Medical Director you will collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team to care for patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, and other complex conditions within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in PM&R.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• Commitment to inpatient rehabilitation medicine and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction for an inpatient rehabilitation program.
• Lead and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team caring for complex neurologic and orthopedic patients.
• Improve patient outcomes through evidence-based, patient-centered care.

As Medical Director you will work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team caring for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic conditions, and other medically complex diagnoses.
