Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for an inpatient psychiatric assignment in Nebraska. The clinician will treat adult and adolescent patients, participate in a multidisciplinary team, and perform psychosocial assessments, group therapy, and individual support during a Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 schedule.

Experience in inpatient behavioral health and commitment to quality patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing.
• Experience performing psychosocial assessments and facilitating therapy groups in inpatient settings.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychosocial assessments for new inpatients.
• Facilitate individual therapy and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and case management to coordinate care.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure accurate medical records.
