Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for an inpatient assignment in Los Angeles. You will provide 100% inpatient coverage on a day shift with call and 24-hour call obligations, supported by a Cath Lab team.

Duties include diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, and cardiac consults to maintain on-site cardiac care. The role requires expertise in echocardiograms and unassigned ECG interpretation, with a focus on timely inpatient cardiac care delivery and coordination with hospital

Qualifications

• Interventional cardiologist with inpatient coverage capability.
• Proficiency in diagnostic catheterizations and PCIs.
• Ability to interpret EKGs and echocardiograms for inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% inpatient coverage on day shift with call and 24-hour call responsibilities.
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and PCIs as needed.
• Interpret unassigned EKGs and echocardiograms and provide cardiac consults.
• Manage hospital consults and rounds to maintain on-site cardiac care.
