Job summary

Intermountain Health Layton Hospital is seeking an experienced inpatient Advanced Practice Provider to join the MKD Hospitalists team in Layton and Ogden. The role involves shifts at McKay-Dee and Layton Hospital, focusing on general medicine and ICU collaboration.

The APP will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. A current Utah NP/PA license and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as NP or PA in Utah, with board certification (ACNP/FNP/PA-C).
• DEA certificate II–V. ACLS and BLS for healthcare providers.
• Minimum 2 years inpatient APP experience; hospitalist/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments (history & physical).
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans with attending physicians.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR and compliant with policies.
