Job summary

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking an Inpatient Unit Hospice Aide to support patients in a compassionate, safe environment. You will respond to call buttons, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a clean, sanitary inpatient unit.

Role requires CNA certification and CPR, with ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. You will contribute to family support and participate in post-mortem care when needed, while upholding Compassus values of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Answer the call button from the patient and provide care.
• Follow cleaning and service instructions to maintain a clean, sanitary unit.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Provide sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment for patients.
• Assist with family needs and post-mortem care as needed.
• Launder linens and clothing; manage linen supplies.
• Replenish bathroom and writing supplies as required.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner; perform other duties as assigned.
