Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist to join the onco-hospitalist team providing round-the-clock care for hospitalized patients.

The role offers a 7d on/7d off schedule, collaboration with oncology and palliative care specialists, and opportunities for leadership within the Cancer Center as well as an adjunct academic appointment with MD Anderson in Houston.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology or eligible.
• Florida medical license in good standing.
• ABIM Certification in Hematology (and Oncology).
• Unrestricted Florida Medical License.
• DEA License.

Responsabilités

• Join the collaborative team of oncologists and advanced practice providers delivering care to hospitalized patients around the clock.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team including palliative care specialists.
• Provide management of complex inpatient hematology/oncology cases, including new diagnoses and inpatient therapies.
