Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support in North Carolina. Start ASAP, pay rate $3007.00 – $3255.00. Schedule: one week per month, Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, plus one weekend call per month. Inpatient care with hospital-based procedures, Epic EMR.

Licensure in NC or IMLC, Board Certified, ACLS and BLS required. Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. AMN provides malpractice insurance assistance and travel/lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Licensed in North Carolina or pursuing IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient gastroenterology focus with hospital-based care and procedures.
• Manage patient load with 10–15 patients per shift across 2–3 rooms.
• Potential weekend call coverage as needed.
