Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks a Board-certified Gastroenterologist for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in Sebring, Florida. The physician will cover 24-hour call shifts, perform colonoscopies and EGDs, and provide inpatient rounding and consults.

Procedures average 15–20 per day; EPIC EMR is used for documentation; on-site only with a robust infra to support GI services. The assignment starts October and is ongoing.

Qualifications

• MD degree and board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Proven experience with inpatient gastroenterology coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs (15–20 procedures per day).
• Conduct inpatient rounding and consults; document in EPIC EMR.
