Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 1+ year of related work experience required.
• Physician Assistant license required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Ability to work in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Conduct patient assessments, obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in quality initiatives and support AdventHealth's mission of extending healing.
