Job summary

Ascension Medical Group Gastroenterology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for a PRN inpatient consult role at our Indianapolis facility. The successful candidate will conduct high-level inpatient GI consultations, work closely with attending physicians, and manage complex GI conditions within a busy health system.

Board Certified or Board Eligible as an NP or PA, Indiana licensure and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.
• Indiana NP prescriptive authority credentialed within 6 months of hire date.
• RN credentialed from Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level inpatient gastroenterology consultations, assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex GI conditions.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to order diagnostic testing and assist in procedures and patient care plans.
