Job summary

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join a large inpatient program north of Austin, TX. You will provide comprehensive inpatient GI care in a collaborative environment with APP support.

Board-certified or -eligible gastroenterologists with inpatient experience and ERCP proficiency are preferred. A Texas license is desirable; a 7 on/7 off schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist.
• Inpatient GI experience in hospital setting.
• ERCP proficiency required.
• Active Texas license preferred.
• Ability to work 7 on/7 off with APP support.
• Inpatient GI and ER coverage with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient gastroenterology care alongside two gastroenterologists and one APP.
• Provide inpatient GI and ER coverage during shifts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain licensure and recertification; support on-call needs.
