Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Gastroenterology team at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. The APP will support inpatient consultations under the supervision of a hospitalist, with a variable schedule and collaboration from GI specialists.

Ideal candidates have GI, Family, or Internal Medicine background, with a Master’s degree in Nursing and current Michigan RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required; NP or PA credential.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in GI, family, or internal medicine preferred.
• Current Michigan RN licensure and APN certification.
• Willingness to work variable inpatient schedule.

Responsibilities

• See hospital consultation patients in inpatient GI setting.
• Collaborate with hospitalist and GI physicians.
• Manage orders, procedures and patient care per protocols.
• Participate in teaching and team-based rounds.
