Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Washington State.
• Board-certified in Psychiatry; consult-liaison subspecialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient psychiatric evaluations for medically ill inpatients.
• Assess delirium, suicide risk, and safety concerns; manage medical-psychiatric interactions.
• Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and other teams to develop integrated care plans.
• Educate hospital staff on delirium prevention and de-escalation techniques.
• Coordinate with ED providers for triage, stabilization and disposition decisions.
