Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated dietitian to promote health through personalized nutrition plans. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement dietary plans, and educate patients on healthy eating habits to support recovery.

You will collaborate with physicians and other care team members, monitor nutritional status, and adjust plans as needed while documenting progress in the medical record. We value empathy, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RD certification with active licensure in the state.
• Degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited program.
• 1 year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.
• Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instruction.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care team members.
• Evaluate referral orders for adequacy of nutrition intake methods.
• Document information in the medical record per standards.
