Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State licensure required.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition.
• 1 year of Clinical Dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instruction.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team on nutrition plans.
• Assess referral orders for nutrition adequacy.
• Document in medical records according to standards.
• Implement care plans and assist with special dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and recommend adjustments.
• Review and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
