Job summary

Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an on-site inpatient position at BHC Alhambra Hospital. This per-diem contractor role provides compassionate care to adult and adolescent patients in our eating disorder and behavioral health programs.

The Program Dietitian conducts nutritional assessments, develops meal plans, and delivers patient, group, and family nutrition education in collaboration with the treatment team; licensure and education requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nutritional studies.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
• Experience working with eating disorders preferred, education may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized meal plans based on patients' energy needs.
• Perform nutritional assessments and document findings promptly.
• Provide patient, group and family nutrition education.
• Collaborate with treating physicians and the nutrition services team to develop treatment plans.
