Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Dietitian Specialist to advance nutrition care in specialty areas with autonomy under supervision of senior dietitians.

The role focuses on applying the Nutrition Care Process, complex nutrition interventions, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and care practices.

We offer a sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule with 40 hours weekly at the St George region in Utah.

Qualificações

• Registered Dietitian credentialing by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For registration-eligible, pass the credentialing exam within 6 months of hire.
• For grads after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree is required by an accredited university.
• Education is verified and completed via ACEND accredited program.
• State licensure or certification required for primary practice state; obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions or populations.
• Uses the Nutrition Care Process with moderate autonomy and guidance from advanced practice dietitians.
• Applies advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Uses nutrition technology to estimate needs and goals (indirect calorimetry, software, glucometers).
• Mentors newly graduated dietitians, interns, and clinical diet technicians.
• Applies research to improve patient outcomes and updates care practices.
