Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Registered Diet Tech (DTR) to support nutrition care for patients under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian in an inpatient setting. You will assist with screening, evaluation, care planning, and documentation of dietary plans.

The role emphasizes teamwork with clinical staff, strong communication, and attention to patient needs across units. Healthcare experience is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field.
• Registered by Commission on Dietetic Registration (DTR) or eligible to take the National Registration exam.
• Experience in healthcare food and nutrition service operations and/or as a diet aide, or comparable experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is a requirement.

Responsabilités

• Provides quality nutrition care services under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian.
• Screens and evaluates nutrition needs and assists in care plan development.
• Assists in diet counseling and recordkeeping for patients.
• Supervises patient food service production as needed under supervision.
• Interacts with inter- and intra-department staff to meet patient care goals.
