Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care on a medical-surgical unit, supervising other members of the patient care team.

The RN will assess, implement, delegate, and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including dialysis patients, with a focus on patient engagement, safety, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Inpatient Registered Nurse is responsible for managing care to the patient and family, and for directing and supervising the other members of the patient care team.
• Assessing, prescribing, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating nursing care of patients.
• The RN prioritizes patient care needs and provides leadership and development of the patient care team.
