Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an RN Procedural Acute Dialysis nurse to deliver specialized inpatient dialysis care within Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, TX. You will collaborate with nephrologists, experienced nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support patients through their treatment in a large, not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Dialysis experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor dialysis patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop care plans.
• Regularly assess patient responses and adjust care accordingly.
• Delegate tasks based on state nursing laws and staff abilities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and keep documentation up to date.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis care and post-treatment expectations.
