Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in dialysis to provide comprehensive hemodialysis care across multiple locations, including University Hospital. The role involves day/night rotation, on-call duties, and travel among Madison hospitals, with 100% FTE in a dynamic inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will hold or pursue a BSN (preferred) and have dialysis experience or be in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• RN with dialysis experience or training preferred
• Ability to provide patient education and compassionate care
• Strong teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary staff

Responsibilities

• Provide intermittent hemodialysis at bedside or unit-based settings
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and care
• Manage care across multiple hospital locations in the Madison area
