Job summary
Live Well Homecare in Ohio is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an inpatient acute dialysis unit, applying critical nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will coordinate with the healthcare team to educate patients and families, develop care plans, and address physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
The role includes 24/7 operations with on-call duties and weekend rotations, plus a structured ladder
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years hospital-based RN experience; dialysis experience preferred
- Licensed as an RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
- Participate in quality improvement and regulatory activities
