Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an LPN/LVN to join the dialysis team, providing patient care under RN supervision in an acute setting. You will perform dialysis procedures, monitor treatments, and document results in EMS/ACES, reporting any concerns to the Hemodialysis RN.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment, adhering to QC and safety policies, and participating in staff trainings. CPR certification and nursing licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Successful CPR Certification.
• Ishihara Color Blindness test is a condition of employment.
• Effective communication skills – verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for assigned patients.
• Performs dialysis procedures as prescribed to administer and monitor treatments.
• Documents patient treatment data in EMS/ACES and reports equipment or safety issues.
• Maintains a safe, clean dialysis environment and adheres to safety policies.
• Participates in staff meetings and ongoing training.
