Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated staff member to join the dialysis team in the acute care setting. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will perform technical dialysis procedures, monitor treatments, and ensure accurate documentation in EMS/ACES while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities include initiating renal replacement therapy, reporting changes to the RN, and participating in safety protocols and patient education to support quality care.

Qualifications

• Six months of hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Successful CPR Certification.
• Ishihara Color Blindness test required (not preclusive).
• Effective communication skills – both verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse for assigned patient(s) in the acute setting.
• Performs all technical aspects of dialysis procedures as prescribed to administer and monitor treatments.
• Reports and documents new or unusual incidences to the RN.
• Operates dialysis equipment safely and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Initiates renal replacement treatment and monitors treatment parameters.
• Performs pre/post dialysis evaluation, weight, and vital signs; documents findings.
