Responsibilities

• Codes and abstracts to highest level of specificity.
• Apply AHA coding guidelines for ICD-10-CM/PCS.
• Maintain quarterly accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
• Perform physician queries as needed.
• Complete annual department/hospital competency in NetLearning.
• Attend staff meetings and stay updated on coding updates.
• Maintain accreditations and education sessions as arranged.
