Job summary

Northern California Behavioral Health System is seeking a Clinician (AMFT/ASW/LMFT/LCSW) for a 24-hour weekly schedule in California. The role supports an interdisciplinary treatment program and discharge planning with families and patients.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plan elements, facilitate groups, and collaborate with external providers. Onboarding and cross-training in Clinical Services are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, mental health, or related field.
• Must be licensed by or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences; LCSW/ASW and/or LMFT/AMFT.
• Preferred one year direct clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health settings.
• Orientation training includes HWC and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality case management and therapeutic services to patients and families.
• Serve on interdisciplinary team and support organization’s treatment philosophy.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, administer psychosocial assessments, and contribute to treatment plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care with external providers and resources.
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training of new clinicians in Clinical Services.
