Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, is seeking a pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team. You will review medication orders, provide counseling, and ensure safe, effective therapy across our 286-bed regional hospital while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (education verified).
• License to practice pharmacy in the state of practice and dispense controlled substances.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patients' medication orders for allergy interactions, duplication of therapy, appropriateness of drug therapy, and drug interactions.
• Provides counseling to patients and promotes quality medication education and adherence.
• Ensures medications are prepared and delivered timely to care areas and stored securely and properly for stability and workflow.
