Job summary

Malvern Health seeks a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Malvern Treatment Center and Behavioral Health facility in Philadelphia. You will assess nutritional needs, develop age-appropriate diet plans, and educate patients within the care framework of our center.

The role reports to the Malvern location at 3905 Ford Road and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Nutrition, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred and PA RD licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.
• One year of clinical dietitian experience in a health care environment.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Dietitian in Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutritional screening and assessment within 72 hours of requested consult.
• Plans and documents nutrition care plans using appropriate terminology.
• Ensures nutrition value of meals through meal planning and selection.
• Develops goals based on patient diagnosis and length of stay.
• Provides education to patients and families as part of the care plan.
• Maintains accurate care plans and updates master treatment plan revisions.
• Ensures availability of age-appropriate nutritional supplies and foods.
• Demonstrates infection control principles to prevent disease transmission.
