Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, NJ is seeking a part-time Child/Adolescent Psychologist (20 hours/week) to join our acute inpatient psychiatric team.

The psychologist will diagnose and treat children and adolescents aged 7 and older, perform cognitive evaluations, functional assessments, and contribute to discharge planning under supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifikationen

• Earned Doctorate in Psychology.
• Active experience working with children in acute inpatient psychiatric settings.
• Internship completed in clinical child, school psychology, adult clinical, and/or pediatric psychology.
• Post-doctoral training/experience in child maltreatment or forensic psychology.
• Competence in comprehensive psychological testing.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and treat mental disorders independently.
• Perform targeted psychological testing to aid differential diagnostics, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate testing outcomes into treatment and discharge plans.
• Serve as liaison to community/government agencies for child maltreatment information/services.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with laws and policies.
