Job summary

Integrated Psychiatric Consultants (IPC) is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for an inpatient role in a Children's Unit in the Kansas City area. The position requires working with a 4-18 year-old population in a new hospital (<2 years old) with a supportive team.

The candidate should hold an MD or DO with board eligibility or certification in Psychiatry and possess an active KS license and DEA registration. Salary is aligned with MGMA’s 50th percentile and offers a robust professional environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in KS required or ability to obtain.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients aged 4–18 in a Children's Unit.
• Maintain 9–10 follow-ups and 2–3 initials per patient.
• Collaborate with tenured support staff in a new hospital (<2 years old).
