UCSF Health in San Francisco is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to deliver inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role includes teaching and mentoring residents and fellows, and contributing to program development and quality improvement within a strong academic environment.

Qualificações

• Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• California medical license or eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure by the time of hire.
• Demonstrated clinical, educational, and administrative skills with a commitment to an academic clinician-educator career.
• A collaborative approach and interest in teaching, mentorship, program development, and high-quality patient and family-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop thoughtful, coordinated treatment plans.
• Teach, supervise, and assess psychiatry trainees.
• Contribute to clinical quality, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in departmental, university, and public service activities consistent with a UCSF faculty appointment.
