Job summary
UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our hospitalist-based behavioral health team in Rockford, IL. Qualifications
- MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA license or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient-focused role treating adult and adolescent psychiatric patients.
- Work on a 42-bed unit with 26 adult beds and 16 child/adolescent beds.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, LMFT, pharmacists, and therapists.
- Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.
- Coordinate care with primary and specialty providers within the SwedishAmerican Medical Group.
