Job summary

LifeBridge Health is a 13,000-member health system serving over 1 million patients annually. The Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist will practice primarily at Sinai Hospital, focusing on inpatient cardiovascular medicine with dedicated APP support and collaboration across subspecialties.

This full-time role offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, opportunities for medical education and quality initiatives, and close collaboration with cardiology teams to optimize patient outcomes in a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Maryland medical license or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
• Eligible for hospital privileges at Sinai Hospital.
• Strong clinical skills in the management of hospitalized cardiovascular patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred experience or training in echocardiography, including TEE.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology consultations and management of hospitalized cardiovascular patients.
• Daily cardiovascular assessment and treatment recommendations.
• Management of patients with acute decompensated heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Coordinate care with procedural and subspecialty cardiology teams.
• Partner with APPs to provide timely inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Facilitate transitions of care and communication with outpatient cardiologists.
