Cardiosphere in Naperville, IL seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our inpatient Cardiology Rounding Team. You will deliver high-quality patient care alongside renowned cardiologists and round daily with the care team.

The role emphasizes practicing at the top of your license, adhering to clinical guidelines, and contributing to cardiovascular excellence. We support ongoing education and professional development with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per established standards, practice protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams, daily progress notes, discharge/transfer summaries.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies within scope.
• Monitor patient response, modify care plans, and educate patients and families.
• Round daily on assigned patients and collaborate with physicians and the care team.
• Assist with procedures and specialty care (heart failure, infusion center, outpatient clinics).
• Document encounters using SOAP; maintain records accurately and timely.
• Coordinate referrals and interdisciplinary communication; advocate for patients.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, continuing education and professional development.
• Precept students and support clinic operations; maintain required competencies.
