• Completion of 3-year internal medicine residency and 3-year cardiovascular disease fellowship
• Active or pending Georgia medical license; USMLE or COMLEX passed; ECFMG certification; board eligibility in internal medicine

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and provide continuous care to hospitalized patients with heart and blood vessel conditions.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures as part of patient care.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and radiographs to guide treatment.

Education

MD or DO (US medical school)

Internal Medicine residency (3 years)

Cardiovascular disease fellowship (3 years)

Active or pending Georgia medical license

USMLE OR COMLEX completed

ECFMG certification

Board eligible in internal medicine
