Job summary

Britt Medical in Hartford, Connecticut, seeks an inpatient cardiologist to provide consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity on a 7-on/7-off schedule. The role includes collaboration with clinical faculty, referring physicians, and Cardiology APPs within a nationally recognized program.

The position offers teaching and research opportunities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team, plus a hybrid inpatient/outpatient option.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• CT medical license or eligibility required or pending.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new cardiology consults and provide collaborative inpatient care and rounding.
• Consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity.
• Support transitional care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Work closely with clinical faculty, referring physicians and Cardiology APPs.
