Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Inpatient Care Assistant to support treatment teams by delivering direct patient care, documenting observations, and assisting with intake and triage. You will work under supervision and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, processing patient information in the EMR, and contributing to treatment planning while upholding patient confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of college coursework in related fields.
• 6 months of direct care experience including counseling skills required.
• 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health.

Responsabilités

• Document client behaviors observed during shift and chart into the electronic medical records.
• Accept emergency/crisis calls and triage according to priority and need.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living and support with hygiene.
• Contribute to treatment planning discussions and coordinate care with the RN and multidisciplinary team.
