Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the inpatient Behavioral Health unit at 36615 High Point Medical Center. You will provide patient-centered care, perform nursing assessments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a Board-certified RN with at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience and a BSN preferred; BLS; ability to work 7a-7p or 7p-7a and possibly float to other units; compensation reflects a pay

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license in the state(s) where providing services; BLS.
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with care teams.
Maintains a culture of safety and quality; adheres to standards and policies.
May administer medications and therapies per protocols; ensures documentation accuracy.
