Job summary

The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard in Philadelphia is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology Department. This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing psychological evaluations, testing, individual and group psychotherapy, family interventions, and crisis intervention for adults with acute psychiatric illness in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• One-year supervised clinical internship is required.
• ABPP certification is preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania license to practice psychology is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and clinical interviews.
• Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy.
• Facilitate psychotherapy groups.
• Conduct family therapy and family support interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain professional documentation and records in the EHR.
