Job summary

Peachford Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, invites a PRN Pharmacist to join the Inpatient team in Atlanta, GA. You will ensure accurate dispensing and maintain patient medication profiles in a psychiatry-focused setting.

The role requires GA pharmacist licensure and offers a supportive benefits package as part of a comprehensive hospital system. Prior psychiatric or behavioral health pharmacy experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist in GA.
• Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and/or other regulations relative to dispensing/preparation of medication.
• Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
• Maintains accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
• Assists with pharmacokinetic consult service and drug dosing regimens per hospital protocol.
