Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care within our inpatient behavioral health, mental health and substance use treatment programs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and medical provider.

This role focuses on patient safety, timely medical intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration, and regulatory compliance in a structured treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the State of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred, inpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of an RN and medical provider.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Monitor and report patient status, initiate interventions as needed.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders, collaborate with the treatment team.
• Maintain compliant documentation and HIPAA/regulatory standards.
